HI,

I have an African Gray (Timeth).  I would like to know if the medium size Penn Plax Wreath Rope Swing is large enough for him before placing my order.  I don't need anything for the large sized birds, but I want him to be able to fit in it and be able to snuggle while sleeping.

I'd also like your opinion on a couple of the best selling toys for  Grey's.

I am looking very quickly to purchase a travel carrier for my Blue and Gold Macaw. These are the two cages I am looking at.

 I would really like to speak to someone about these cages and accesories.  I of course like the second one better at this point, but there were no suggestions on perches and feeders.  Will they both fit in the car?  Which is a better suitable cage for a blue and gold.  I just am really confused :)

The perches and feeders we recommend for either carrier are a large Booda rope perch Easy on the feet for long periods and extra to grab onto while the vehicle is accelerating and decelerating.

2 Prevue Bolt on cups will be fine for a couple of ice cubes and some food
 

Will they both fit in the car? 

Hard to say not knowing what kind of car. That said, if you have a four door family sedan, the 611 is a little tall and the casters may rip the upholstery. The 603 fold-away carrier would be better.

Also remember if you put the 611 in a van or SUV, it's on casters and something must be dome to prevent it from rolling.

Which is a better suitable cage for a blue and gold?

Either portable bird carrier will work. We need to know how you would be using it. For a quick trip to the vet, stick with the 603. Easy in-and-out, no worries about rolling.

If you're taking a road trip and staying at aunt Mabel's on the way, pick the 611. That way when aunt Mabel says "that darn that bird is messy, could you move the cage so I can sweep", you'll have casters to act quickly.

The cage is wrought iron with powdercoating. We recently moved and the new warehouse is currently under renovation, but we can bring in a 3155 for you to pick up in 3 business days from you placing your order

Also on the dimensions, does the depth include the seed catcher or is it just the cage it self?  I need to know if I can get it through a door for cleaning.

The listed cage dimensions do not include the dimensions for the seed catchers. In general figure an additional 10 inches side-to-side and front-to-back. Using the seed catchers is optional, we don't suggest using them, they are just another thing to wash and the birds do manage to toss things beyond the seed catchers anyway.

Hi--I've been searching for a cage for my lovebird--her current cage has feeding dishes that are low the ground; she's been nesting under them, laying too many eggs, and endangering her health.

So I want a cage that's pretty large, has high-up feeding dishes that are accessible from the outside (so she doesn't kill people), and has a removable grate on the bottom.
 
I would also like it to not be bolted to a stand, so that I can put it on a table, be under 50 pounds (or at least not much more than that), and go together with bolts/screws (I've already had to return one pin-and-tube construction cage that was warped in transit and therefore un-assemble-able. And of course it needs to be non-toxic.

It looks to me like this cage on your site fits the bill--Parrot Cage w/ Flat Opening Top - Cart & Shelf HQ 32217C

but before I hit "buy," I wanted to confirm that, and ask if you have any recommendations for other cages in your inventory that would meet those specifications? I am eager to buy ASAP.

Hi Pat - you've done your research  - the HQ 3221C would be a good choice

The HQ 2217C is very similar having a  non opening dome top

Lastly please consider the Gable Bird Cage from Marvelous for a really new and contemporary look
