Editors note: The AE 701 is a versatile cage not only because you can remove it from the stand, but the top opens too. This gives your bird a "play top" bird cage if you will. IT's easy top assemble.
The cage itself "snaps" together but you will need a screwdriver to assemble the cage stand.
Most people enjoy having the the storage shelf underneath - some have place plants or flowers on the shelf for added decoration.
