23 Year Old Doves Doing Well

Review : My daughter talked her parents into a pair of doves for her 9th birthday which was when we began feeding them Hagen Pigeon and Dove Seed recommended at the pet store.
Our daughter is now 32 and moved away long ago, but the doves, Ariel and Whitney, are still here along with their 12yr old offspring,Chloe. A couple of years ago the pet store stopped carrying this food and I did not want to shock their systems at this late stage and found this online source.
The birds have never been sick in any way whatsoever. We took Ariel to the vet for the first time recently to have her beak trimmed. The vet was amazed at her healthy condition and age(23) and suprised when we said we had her mate at home and he is the same age! Ariel still lays the occasional egg and Chloe, her daughter, also lays eggs
