Help keep the bird cage clean
Cages have come a long way - seed guards, pull out trays & grilles, casters. But you still have to clean them. Birds are messy by their nature. They were put on the planet to "sow seeds of the earth."
They poop roughly every 15 minutes. Many wild birds eat fish eggs and poop them else ware helping populate small lakes with fish
They just don't know the difference between your living room & the rain forest. We suggest taking certain actions that can help reduce your cage cleaning time.

- Less seed more fresh food and/or pelleted food
- Move bird food dishes lower - place on slide out grille (floor of cage)
- Place section of newspaper directly on slide out grille
- Use office chair mat under cage area
- Loose the seed guards - they're actually more to clean
- Use steam cleaner to clean bird cage and sanitize in place
- Clean more often so it's not such a big chore
- Keep wings trimmed - less flapping power - less mess spreading
