How to tame a one month old Cockatiel
I was told she was still young enough to tame, however I'm not sure how to do that. I was wondering if there was any particular routine I should follow?
I managed to get her to eat a millet out of my hand today, but I'm looking to be more friendly with her (ie her sitting on my shoulder, that kind of stuff).
She came from an aviary of other cockatiels and budgies. Should I get her wings clipped? Thanks!

Once clipped put her on the floor (a freshly clipped bird does not know they now cannot fly and can hurt themselves crashing to the floor)
If the bird has been in another cage with other birds for 6 months or more, they will be more difficult to tame, you are alien to her and she knows she is a bird, but what are you other than her care taker?
There is a lot to do and I recommend you Google "cockatiel support groups", "cockatiel forums", etc and you will find a huge amount of people and information who can help answer your questions, how to tame her and make her into a lovely pet.
