Feezie (the Cockatiel) & CC's love @ first sight story
I just wanted to state that I have a new baby its name is Feezie and was born on Feb. 14, 2010 but its was home with me on April 16, 2010.
I've always loved small birds and had a love bird some years ago and always wanted another one. So one day I came to Windy City Parrot and my friend Catherine told me that a lady had just came in and posted about a few cockatiels that she had wanted to sell so I immediately called Kate and told her who I was & how I cam about getting her information. So I told my friend that I had spoken with Kate & that I really wanted to get this cockatiel which was a bird I have never encountered until that day.
Once my friend found out that I had set a time she suggested that she take me there to look at the birds & she would take me home which I thought was very sweet & thoughtful of her considering it was raining & we would be on the train & bus home.
So I purchased the Prevue Cage , Living World Premium Cockatiel Bird Food , & some bird toys & we went out to Ms. Kate's home where we greeted very nicely by her & her family including her pets. We get to the room where Feezie & the rest of the bird family was & I was drawn by all the love the birds had for each other & when I was told to have Feezie step up on my finger which again I never done it came right to me & we just bonded & I was so happy.
Since Ms. Kate seen that we were happy together instead of her taking any money from me for Feezie she just came out & told me that I can just have it. I almost cried right then & there but she told us that would just make her cry as well so we laughed it off & hugged instead along with my boss.
That's the end of the start of Feezie & CC's love @ first sight story.

Without saying the obvious, it has always amazed me how quickly the spirits of my pen finches seem to bond with my heart.
Our birds live for longer times than most pets, and I like to think that it is because of the love they feel, and the care I give them.
It's so nice to read about a person who feels the same as I do.
On the other hand, I think it would be the unusual individual who wouldn't be won over eventually by the cheer birds bring into one's life.
