Stuffed Parrots
| I attended the first ever Google Analytics conference last Wednesday. The relevance is that the conference was held at the Field Museum in Chicago . http://www.fieldmuseum.org/ When the conference ended our name badges allowed us entrance into the museum until closing. I walked briskly through the mammals and other species and allowed myself the privilege of spending about 40 minutes walking through their collection of birds. Although this may sound weird to say words "birds stuff well", the do - they show well, better than many other animals. Display case after display case organized by geography and species was simply breathtaking. From North American birds that I see in my backyard to Falcons, owls cockatoos, woodpeckers, grouse, Eagles - just an endless show. We don't really have an agenda to view any particular species, but I've got to tell you, seeing that many types of birds all at once looking very real, as if they're already to fly away makes me want to go back and spend a lot more time |
