Help My Bird is Un-Screwing His Cage - Can I Use Loctite?

Silicon Bronze Hex Head Cap Screws-3-8-16Mouse (an 8-month TAG) has transferred knowledge. She learned from a foot toy how to unscrew nuts and bolts. I thought this was cute. Now she's taking apart her cage when she's out on her playgym. My father suggested I put "Locktight" which is a chemical-based product on the screws to keep her from getting them apart.

Does anyone have thoughts on this product or something else? Has anyone had to do this?

 Any experience in this department?

Short answer - don't even think about it.

Long answer - when you Google "Loctite" the SERP contains the following "Worldwide manufacturer of acrylic, cyanoacrylate, epoxy, urethane and hot melt adhesives for industrial applications"

I'm not a vet but this is nasty stuff - tell dad try replacing the screws with "hex head" bolts

He could also somehow "corrupt the threads" at the end of the screw making them harder to turn.

Send me a pic and I could probably give you more ideas.

Criminy. I'm having palpitations just reading that list.
I checked out the hex head screws and...hmmm...that's what we've got on the cage. I think my problem comes from the areas where the nut is exposed and she's working out "the problem" of the nut and bolt. I will certainly do some more investigating! Thank you for the feedback. I'm not sure why I didn't think to look up the product on the internet. I do most of my book promotion on the internet/social media so I spend incredible amounts of time on this computer. For some reason, that option just didn't occur to me.
    Thank you for your help!

If part of the bolt is exposed past the nut - (if not get longer bolts) then try to crimp, file, or notch the end of the threads after they are tightened in a cage - that will prevent the bolt from passing through the nut

If dad has a "vice-grip" that will "smash" the threads
