Hi--I've been searching for a cage for my lovebird--her current cage has feeding dishes that are low the ground; she's been nesting under them, laying too many eggs, and endangering her health.

So I want a cage that's pretty large, has high-up feeding dishes that are accessible from the outside (so she doesn't kill people), and has a removable grate on the bottom.
 
I would also like it to not be bolted to a stand, so that I can put it on a table, be under 50 pounds (or at least not much more than that), and go together with bolts/screws (I've already had to return one pin-and-tube construction cage that was warped in transit and therefore un-assemble-able. And of course it needs to be non-toxic.

but before I hit "buy," I wanted to confirm that, and ask if you have any recommendations for other cages in your inventory that would meet those specifications? I am eager to buy ASAP.

Hi Pat - you've done your research  - the HQ 3221C would be a good choice

The HQ 2217C is very similar having a  non opening dome top

Lastly please consider the Gable Bird Cage from Marvelous for a really new and contemporary look
