Maggie has a huge problem.  She has arthritic feet.  She falls every night several times a night from a perch.  It has taken just a few days to get her to come over to the new perch as she is very old and set in her ways. But she has come over and stood on it now several times to get at her Seed.  Next stop, teaching her to eat good / healthy foods.  I hope to have her sleeping on it soon so that I can purchase 3 more- 1 for the top and two for the bottom to help her get around better.

 This is an investment worth making whether you have a healthy bird or a handicap bird.  If you get them use to this type of perch when they are young it will be much easier.
