Just bought this for my Blue Fronted Amazon. It is appealing and smart to look at. Interior space is very large and seems suitable for this size of parrot.
We recently used it as a travel cage on 2 x 2.5 hour trip and it functioned well. Needs some sort of cover for night travel as our wee fella became uptight in the darker hours... we fixed this problem with a fleece cover.
I also use it on an almost daily basis when I walk the dog in the cooler evenings... I take the bird now too.
He enjoys his trips around the place and our shy boy has become more outgoing since the trips began. Even interacting and speaking to people who stop us to admire him.

However, I feel I can only gave this backpack 4* (stars) for one very simple reason. In my opinion the perch is located too low inside the bag, and it means the bird ends up with broken, ruffled tail feathers that sometimes get poop all over them. Lifting the perch an extra couple of inches would make ALL the difference.

Otherwise an overall satisfied customer with an almost perfect product!
